This is where I tell why I started a blog…original huh?

I am quite opinionated about a lot of things.  I also know a little about a lot of things.  So one might surmise that I am opinionated on things about which I know very little.  One would be quite right.  I started this blog with the thought that I could write in it and get some mental exercise, make a few friends I will never meet, expound piously about things I think I understand, and maybe learn something.  I like a good debate when it remains respectful.  No use getting nasty about opinions.

Like everyone else, my opinions are always right…at least to me.  I like politics.  I am conservative.  I am a Christian:  Southern Baptist by denomination, Church of God by birth.  So I am a repressed, egotistical, holy roller who is a fan of Rush Limbaugh.  I am also a gamer. I like roleplaying games and will sometimes write about them.  I don’t currently have a gaming group but would like to.  Sometimes it’s hard to find a Christian gaming group.  We don’t admit to people we know that we play due to the furor in the 80’s caused somewhat by Jack Chick’s Dark Dungeons tract.  I prefer to think of it like this.

My sister has a blog and suggested I start one, so you can blame her if you hate me.

I’ll try to update this blog at least weekly but if it’s like my Twitter feed or Facebook updates it may be sporadic.  I guess it depends on what I have to say.  So…till next time.

I may not agree with what you say, but I’d defend to the death the right for you to say it! 🙂
Love your intro. Now that I’m reading fantasy, I want to play games too!!!
